Here’s what I would consider the official view of Rowena Crest that many are familiar with. It’s ‘the shot’ that everybody wants to get while they’re there. I think this is the second or third time I’ve been there and I didn’t have a picture of it yet for my collection. Time to remedy that! A little trickier with a pinhole, since you have no viewfinder. I think I did pretty well…

Glacier National Park is a 1,583-sq.-mi. wilderness area in Montana's Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border. It's crossed by the mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road. Among more than 700 miles of hiking trails and home to mountain goats and grizzly bears!
Black bears also… we happened to see two! Only saw one grizzly!

We had such a beautiful day for hiking this trail. It was a bit chilly but nothing that windbreaker clothing didn’t take care of. It was the one overcast day with soft lighting and perfect for photographing the fall colors!
