Angela was born in Kenosha Wisconsin in 1978, and moved to Portland Oregon in 2014. In her personal photographic work she utilizes many photographic formats and cameras regularly. This includes her Zero Image Pinhole, Pentax 67, Olympus M1, Leica M3 and her ‘Blue’ Holga 120N.
Angela states “ I’m curious. I am deeply interested in what is not easily accessible or found, yet I am not detoured by the challenge. Rather, I am hungry for adventure and discoveries!”
Beyond her own work, Angela runs a city wide photo community named Photo Club PDX (PCPDX), which focuses on building artistic community, growing photographically, and nurturing the passionate pursuit of creating photographic art.
Angela is actively seeking Industrial Photography Work as well as Content Creation Work.
She is always interested in teaching, Speaking, and Gallery Representation.

This is an Artist Profile for the Film Photographer, Angela Holm. Angela loves to document all sorts of industry. She has a particular keenness towards man made structures that are being reclaimed by the Earth. She finds there is a mysterious stillness present and a visual story that can be told.
